This Drive can be used for all Laptop but some Laptop might
need to use it with caddy/housing etc.
This is just the bare cd / cdrw/dvd combo drive only, cd caddy/ housing not included, you have to take existing cd dvd combo drive and remove the old caddy / cover / housing from the cd caddy(cd caddy is just the casing attached to the cd/dvd drive), then attach this new cdrw drive to the existing cd caddy, it is very easy to do, anybody who knows how to use a screwdriver know how to do this.
Installation Instruction:
1.) Remove the screws from the existing cd or dvd drive
2.)Remove the cd or dvd drive from the existing cd caddy
3.)install the new cd cdrw/dvd combo drive to the cd cadd
